Our Rotary actuator of the VDZ series is used to swivel bathing platforms on yachts. The crew or guests of these yachts have the option of swiveling out the bathing platform with the aid of our rotary actuators and, depending on the yacht design, removing a jet ski from the garage behind it or conveniently getting into the water from the bathing platform. The steep threaded swivel motor (rotary drive) specially developed for this application is designed specifically for the application and is resistant to highly corrosive media such as salt water. Together with our customers, we have designed a special version with regard to the design and material properties and adapted it to its application.

The rotary actuators are also used to control the bow rudder or the drive unit on yachts. A new application for our steep-threaded swivel motors has arisen from a current customer request in which the customer wants to hide the anchor on his yacht out of sight below deck and swing out a boom as required to drop the anchor.
